For Nonprofits

These tools should be in the hands of people doing good things with them.

AI is transforming what's possible. Most of that transformation is going to large companies with large budgets. I think that's the wrong outcome — and I'm doing something about it.

Why Now

Something big just happened
to technology.

In the last two years, AI tools went from science fiction to genuinely useful. The kind of automation that used to require a team of engineers can now be built in days. Grant reports that took a week to write can take an afternoon. Volunteer scheduling, donor communications, intake tracking, impact reporting — all of it is suddenly within reach of any organization willing to try.

The problem is that most of the energy around these tools has flowed toward companies that were already winning. Big enterprise clients. Tech-forward industries. Organizations with IT budgets and dedicated software teams.

Meanwhile, the organizations doing some of the most important work — the ones feeding people, protecting ecosystems, building community — are still running on the same cobbled-together tools they've always had. Not because they couldn't use something better. Because nobody's shown up to help them get there.

I moved to the San Juan Islands because this community matters to me. And I have skills I can put to work for it. So that's what I'm doing.

"The organizations doing the most important work deserve the best tools. I'm putting my background to work to make that happen — right here, on these islands."

The Program

Free access for the
first eight island nonprofits.

This isn't a discount. It's a founding program. The first eight qualifying nonprofits get the full onboarding — no cost, no strings. After that, mission-driven rates going forward.

01

Free Technology Assessment

A 90-minute deep dive into how your organization actually operates — where time is lost, where things fall through the cracks, and where technology could change the equation. You'll walk away with a clear picture of what's possible, whether we work together or not.

One Free Implementation Project

You tell me your biggest time-sink. The thing that costs your team the most hours every week. I'll build something that fixes it — an AI-assisted workflow, an automation, a tool. Designed, built, and handed off at no cost to you.

Up to 8 hours — Free

Mission-Driven Rate, Forever

Founding nonprofits lock in a 35% discount off standard rates for any future work — for as long as we work together. Ongoing support, future projects, whatever comes next. Founding members don't lose their rate.

What We Can Do Together

Real tools for
real problems.

Not theoretical. These are the actual things nonprofits on the islands are dealing with — and what becomes possible when you have the right help.

✍️

Grant Writing,
accelerated.

AI-assisted grant writing doesn't replace your voice — it amplifies it. Pull program data, draft narratives, track deadlines, tailor language to each funder. What used to take a week can take a day.

  • AI-assisted narrative drafting from your program data
  • Funder research and prospect matching
  • Grant calendar and deadline tracking
  • Reporting templates that write themselves
💌

Donor communications
that actually land.

Most nonprofits know they should communicate more consistently with donors. Most don't, because there's never time. Automation solves the consistency problem while keeping the personal touch.

  • Automated thank-you and acknowledgment flows
  • Donor segmentation and personalized outreach
  • Newsletter drafting and scheduling
  • Lapsed donor re-engagement sequences
📋

Operations that
run themselves.

Scheduling, intake, data entry, volunteer coordination — repetitive work that eats hours and doesn't need a human touch. Free your staff for the work that actually matters.

  • Volunteer scheduling and communications
  • Intake forms and client tracking
  • Event coordination and registration
  • Automated reminders and follow-ups
📊

Impact data that
tells your story.

Funders want numbers. Your community wants proof of impact. Getting that data out of spreadsheets and into a format that actually communicates your work shouldn't require a data team.

  • Impact dashboards for board and funders
  • Annual report generation from program data
  • Program outcome tracking and visualization
  • Survey design and analysis
Who This Is For

Island nonprofits,
of any size.

You don't need to have a tech team. You don't need to know exactly what you need. You just need to be doing good work in this community and be open to a conversation about what better tools could look like.

The founding program is designed for organizations that are doing important work on limited resources — the kind of organization that's been making do with what it has, not because it's unsophisticated, but because nobody's ever made the right tools accessible to it.

  • Registered nonprofit operating in the San Juan Islands (San Juan, Orcas, Lopez, or surrounding islands)
  • Staff or volunteers spending meaningful time on tasks that could be automated or assisted
  • Open to a 90-minute conversation about your current operations and technology
  • Willing to be a reference or case study if the work goes well (no pressure, but it helps)

Size doesn't matter. Whether you have 2 staff or 20, if the fit is there, it's there.

Founding Program Spots
8

Keeping it small on purpose. Eight organizations means I can do this work properly — not as a checkbox, but as a genuine commitment. Once the founding cohort is full, the program closes and future nonprofits move to the (still discounted) standard nonprofit rate.
